Betty Lou Pearman

Betty Lou Pearman, daughter of the late Holmer Surface and Cora (Bass) Surface, was born on March 5, 1932, in Delta, Missouri, and passed away on March 13, 2026, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 94.

She worked at Superior Electric and Tricon before later joining the Chaffee International Shoe Factory. A woman of Baptist faith, she made her home in Chaffee for many years.

On October 21, 1956, Betty Lou married Albert Lloyd Pearman, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Sam (Lisa) Pearman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two grandchildren, Brook Pearman of Belleville, Illinois, and Trevor Pearman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
