Betty Lou Crosley

Betty Lou Crosley, 95, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on the evening of March 8, 2026. Born on October 26, 1930, to William Whitlock and Leona (Cromwell) Whitlock, Betty lived a long and purposeful life marked by dedication to her work and her faith.

For more than forty years, Betty worked as a realtor with Marquis Realty. She was a founding member of New Beginnings Church in New Albany and remained a devoted congregant throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Chris Weber, and her loving husband, Billy C. Crosley. Betty is survived by her son, Stephen L. Vigar (Margot); her daughter, Lisa D. DeFreese; her stepdaughter, Carol Bardo (Dave); grandchildren Jordan Suhr, Lauren Davis, Zachary Vigar (Ashley), Nichole Woodall (Terrell), Piper Vigar, Sabatian Vigar, Drew Wolfe (Samantha), Scott Wolfe (Holly), and Hannah Krueger; and great-grandchildren Mason Suhr and Nelani Woodall.

She will be remembered for the steady love she gave her family and the quiet strength she brought to every role she filled.
