Betty Lee Brennan

Betty Lee Brennan, née Deitrick, 98, a lifelong resident of Charleston, West Virginia, died on March 1, 2026. Born on March 10, 1927, in Charleston to Ashton Sr. and Eva (Hoke) Deitrick, she lived a long and full life in the city she always called home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Brennan, her brother Ashton Deitrick Jr., and her grandchildren Thomas Brennan II and Leigh Wiblin. Betty Lee is survived by her three children, Raymond (Joan) Brennan of Florida, Angela (Terry) Bennett of Texas, and Beverly (Bill) Javins of Charleston, as well as nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Those who knew her will remember a woman whose quiet strength and devotion to family defined her years. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren remain the living testament to a life rooted in love and steadfast care.
