Betty Lacy Kendrick

Betty Lacy Kendrick, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Edith Woodson Lacy Stores and James Anderson Lacy, and the beloved wife of the late Samuel Kendrick.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Hendrix and Brenda Cunningham, and one brother, Brad Lacy.

She had a deep love for animals, especially cats and dogs, and possessed a generous heart that moved her to help anyone she could. Those who knew her will remember her kindness and quiet willingness to support others.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Eric Kendrick and Keith Kendrick; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson, all of whom she cherished deeply. She is also survived by one brother, Steve Lacy (Priscilla), one sister, Zelma Stevens (Sam), and many other relatives and friends.
