Betty Jane Van Der Kamp

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Jane Van Der Kamp (Sacramento, California), born in Sully, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jong and Ella De Jong; her sister Almetta June; and her brothers-in-law, Ward, Cleo (Maurine Van Der Kamp), Milo (Velma Van Der Kamp), Floyd (Jeanetta Van Der Kamp), Ralph (Ruby Van Wyk), Walt (Irene Van), Leest and Vernon Van Der Kamp.

She is survived by: her children, Carl (Patti), Craig (Gayleen) and Lynne; her grandchildren, Joshua, Micah, Christian, Alissa, Timothy and Josef; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Adam, Lauren, Kaylie, Noah, River, Kai, Tristan, Camila and Karma; and her sister-in-law Neva Lanser. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Memorial Chapel (5757 Greenback Ln, Sacramento, CA 95841). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers Betty requested that any memorial tributes go to Northminster Presbyterian Church Foundation Fund.
