Betty J. Huffman

Betty Jean Huffman, 82, of Timberville, VA, passed away March 16, 2026, at Woodstock Valley Health and Rehab. She was born February 1, 1944 in New Market to the late Claude and Pearl Hepner Rupert.Betty was a seamstress at Hartz. She was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church in Orkney Springs.On June 22, 1963, she married Jerry Lee Huffman, who survives.Also surviving are two brothers, Claude Rupert, Jr. of Georgia, Rodney Rupert of Mt. Jackson; a number of nieces and nephews.Her daughter, Katrina Lynn Huffman, and nine siblings preceded her in death.Rev. Linda Monroe will conduct a funeral service Friday at 10 AM at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may view and sign the guestbook Thursday from 9 A.M. - 7 P.M. at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA, 2170 Old Furnace Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22802.Online condolences may be left for the family at grandlefuneralhome.com.
