She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hill and Virginia Hardy Hill; her spouse Delna Glenn Dail, Sr.; and her siblings, Faye Wallace, Brenda Bennett, Ronnie Hill and Herman Hill.

She is survived by: her sons, Delna Glenn Dail, Jr. and Craig Dail (Karen); her sister Dawn Gaskins; her grandchildren, Taylor, Tiffany, Kayla and Patrick; and her pet Bubba. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Snow Hill Cemetery (1112 Kingold Blvd, Snow Hill, NC 28580).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Victory Baptist Church, 684 Old Hertford Highway, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
