Betty lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and quiet dedication to her family and community. She found deep fulfillment in volunteering with Ann Arbor Hospice, where her compassion and gentle warmth touched many lives. Her home reflected her creative spirit, especially during the holidays, when she delighted in transforming it into a festive celebration, with Christmas holding a special place in her heart. She also possessed a green thumb and took great pride in her garden, spending many peaceful hours tending to her flowers and plants.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Moran; her parents, William and Gladys Green; her sister, Rita; her son, Kelvin Moran; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Gooding and Dane Green-Moran.
Betty is survived by her children, Kelly Moran, Michael Moran, Michele Moran, and Marlene (Paul) Vella; her cherished grandchildren, Theresa Moran, Ashley Khoury, Amanda James, Connor Moran, Logan Moran, Melanie McBride, Destanie Green-Moran, Dylan Green-Moran, Antonio Ramirez, Michael Vella, and McKayla Vella; her great-grandchildren, Victoria, Emmett, Sonni, Cal, Cole, Candice, Maverick, Ryker, Casey, and Louis; and her brother, Alvar (Elaine) Green. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose love, laughter, and nurturing spirit continue to bloom in the lives of all who knew her.
