Betty Bass Joyner

Betty Ann Joyner, known affectionately as Betty Bass Joyner, completed her life’s journey on Thursday, March 12, 2026. A loving and dedicated mother, she cherished her son John and daughter-in-law Kim with all her heart, and she adored her grand puppies. In her younger years she found joy in singing and playing softball, and she was always ready for a good conversation.

She is survived by her beloved son, John, and daughter-in-law, Kim, of Lucama, as well as many special nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas (Tom) and Pauline Bass; her brother, William Farris Miller Sr.; and her sister, Helen Mae Miller Alusik.
