Betty Arlene Mills

Betty Arlene Mills, née Jahns, of Heppner, Oregon, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 89.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Betty lived a life deeply rooted in family and community. She spent her years in Heppner, where she was known for her quiet strength, warm spirit, and enduring connection to the land and its history.

She is survived by her loving family, who will remember her with great affection and gratitude for the many ways she touched their lives.

A burial service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Rockford, Washington. In keeping with her values, memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Agriculture Museum in Heppner.
