Beth H. Eades, 88, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on October 7, 1937, in Havana, Florida, to the late William Terry Henderson and Rosalyn Merle (Whitfield) Henderson.
Beth dedicated many years of service to South Georgia Medical Center, where she worked as a Patient Financial Services Manager. Beth was a dedicated member of the Valdosta Elks Lodge #728 and contributed to the community through the Elks many charitable programs.
Above all, Beth was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family. Her favorite role was Mema to all of her much-loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren whom she loved to spoil every chance she got. She had a warm and caring spirit and was well known for her wonderful cooking, often bringing loved ones to the table.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, John Harold Eades; son, Tracy Hendrix; daughter, Carol Eades Jennings; granddaughter, Stephanie Ray; sisters: June Henderson, Wynell Purcell, Ann McCluskey; and brothers: Roddy Henderson and Randy Henderson.
Survivors include her children: Cheryl H. Braswell (Randy) of Valdosta, GA, Mark Hendrix (Wanda) of Thomaston, GA; LeAnne H. Owens (Bryan) of Rockmart, GA; daughter-in-law, Traci Ann Hendrix of Brooklet, GA; and son-in-law, Rex Williamson of Valdosta, GA. Grandchildren: Laura (Bruce), Abby (Jason), Corey (Ashley), Clint (Christina), Mandi, Johnmark, Bella, Wren, Emerson, Alyson, and Andy. Great Grandchildren: Teressa, Mikayla, Alley, Gracie, Maddie, Reagan, Colton, Blayke, Brantley, Kycen, Salem, Brooklyn, and Aubrey. and 3 great great grandchildren. Sister Rosemary Robertson of Tallahassee, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family would like to mention the wonderful staff of Langdale Place and Langdale Hospice House who took care of their mother at the most vulnerable time in her life and thank them so much for taking such good care of her.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm on Tuesday, March 17,2026 at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
