Beth Anne Betancourt

Beth Anne Betancourt, 70, of Marstons Mills, passed away at home on March 9, 2026. A loving wife to Rodolfo Betancourt, she was born in Montclair, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Hopper) Brower. Beth earned a degree in Chemistry from Montclair State University and later received her RN from Fresno City College. She devoted thirty-five years to her career as a Registered Nurse with the VNA of Cape Cod before retiring.

Beth found joy in traveling, walking, reading, and baking. She was beloved for her homemade cookies and her gentle insistence that everyone eat their vegetables. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Rodolfo; her son, Michael Betancourt, PhD, of New York City; her daughter, Catalina Betancourt, PhD, and Catalina’s husband, Thomas Kindred, PhD, along with their children, Willa Rey Kindred and Arthur Frank Kindred, all of Easthampton, Massachusetts. She also leaves her brothers, Joseph Brower and his wife Christine of New Jersey, John Brower and his wife Nancy of New Jersey, her sister, Barbara Hagen and her husband Richard of New Jersey, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
