He was born in Everett, Washington on June 11, 1943, to the late Clarence and Elsie (Depner) Opsahl. Berryl married Bertha Stuever on February 17, 1968, in Wabeno. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 44, Wabeno and loved to hunt, fish, and build model airplanes.Berryl in survived by his children: Beverly (Todd) Genskow of Kaukauna; Julie Dye of Kaukauna; and Karen Opsahl of Celina, TN; grandchildren: Lee (Meg) Bailey, Andrew (Tracy) Bailey, Jessi Kaufman, Bobbie Cella, Blake Genskow, and Kassidy Dye; great grandchildren: Anna, Jordan, Jakob, Emmitt, Robert, Kylie, Andy, Aerin, Nolan, Kason, Stephanie, and Kimora; and in-laws: Dale Siebers and Gary (Sugar) Vladik. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews, that he was proud of.In addition to his parents, Berryl was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; son-in-law, Michael Dye; grandson, Michael Dye, Jr.; grandson-in-law, Kyle Kaufman; brothers: Bernard and Robert Opsahl; sisters: Bernice "Toddy" Siebers and Bernadine "Scoots" (Don) Kain; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Geneva (George) Fryar and Kenny Stuever.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.To send a flower arrangement in memory of Berryl Orville Opsahl, please click here to visit our sympathy store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
