She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Bennett and Jocie Irene Prillaman Mayhew; her husband Jessie Jenkins; and her sister Eloise Mayhew. She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Preeman; her brother Reggis Mayhew; and her grandson Charlie Preeman III. She is also survived by two great-great grandchildren and Nephew and nieces.

A reception will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bernice's.
