Bernice Maxfield Aldrich

Bernice Maxfield Aldrich of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 92. She was a beloved member of her community whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her parents, Lesle Ernest Maxfield and Marguerite Dodge Maxfield; her husband, Richard Andrew Aldrich; her son, Rodney Aldrich; and her siblings, Dick Maxfield and Betty Frary, Bernice is survived by her children, Craig Aldrich, Laraine Mann, and Beatrice Moore; and her siblings, Louis Maxfield, Bob Maxfield, Marjory, and Lorna Eaton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Throughout her long life, Bernice remained deeply connected to her family, leaving behind a legacy of love that continues in the lives of those she held closest. Her presence brought warmth and steadiness to those around her, and she will be remembered with great affection by all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
