Bernard Stern

Bernard Stern of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 97. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audrey Stern; his parents, Max and Esther Stern; his brother, Jules Stern and Jules’s wife Carol; and his sister-in-law, Phyllis Tuchten, wife of the late Mike Tuchten.

He is survived by his three sons, Ron Stern and his wife Cheryl, Michael Stern and his wife Jacki, and Mark Stern and his wife Anne. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Matthew Stern and his wife Abigail, Alyssa Reynolds and her husband Patrick, Jeremy Stern, Jordan Stern, Madilyn Stern, Charlie Stern, Theodore Stern, Olivia Stern, Jake Reynolds, and Eloise Reynolds.

Throughout his long life, Bernard remained deeply devoted to his family, finding his greatest joy in the love and company of his wife, children, and grandchildren. His quiet strength and steadfast presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
