Bernadine Theresa Trudell

Bernadine Theresa Trudell, age 86, of Stanton, passed away on March 6, 2026, with her loving husband of 65 years by her side. Born on December 9, 1939, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Ernest I. and Veronica C. (Bergeron) Ceglarek.

Bernadine had a lifelong passion for bringing people together. She enjoyed planning social gatherings and founded a young Christian social group, through which she met her husband, Dennis. Later in life, she continued fostering community while living in Florida. She found joy in dancing, crafting, quilting, and coloring.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children, Robert (Eva) Trudell of Rockford, Richard (Brenda) Trudell of Grand Rapids, Rene (Randy) Korsky of Sheridan, Bernadette Trudell of Jackson, Jeanine (Brian) Rusher of Auburn Hills, and William (Jammie) Trudell of Crystal; her daughter-in-law, Rosie LaDuke Trudell; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Maslowski of Wisconsin, and her brother, Joseph (Catherine) Ceglarek of Allendale. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dennis Trudell Jr.; and her siblings, Florence Skorika, Robert, Thomas, Daniel, Bernice, and James Ceglarek.
