Bernadette Hill

Bernadette Hill passed away on March 9, 2026, in Florida at the age of 81. Predeceased by her parents Rita Fuller and Robert Stevens, her son Harry Fox, and her husband Derrick Hill, she leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply.

She is survived by her daughter Rita Laracy, stepdaughter Leslie Hill, and stepson Colin Hill, as well as her grandson Chad Hamilton and great-grandchildren Charles and Savannah Hamilton. A longtime resident of Rhinebeck, New York, Bernadette later moved to Alabama. She was a vibrant presence with a warm and listening ear, and for nearly two decades she was a beloved fixture at one of the town’s most popular restaurants, where it seemed she knew everyone and everyone knew her.
