Berdena Looman

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berdena Looman of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 5, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Berdena Looman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband John; her son Jeff Looman; and her granddaughters, Melissa Zuverink and Abigail Looman. She is survived by: her children, Jack Looman (Cheri), Jodi Zuverink (Ron) and Dr. Jon Looman (Brenda); her daughter-in-law Lynda Looman; her brother Herb Steigenga; and her sister-in-law Ruth Steigenga. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Contributions in memory of Berdena may be made to the First Cutlerville CRC Education Fund.
