He was born October 10, 1969, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Bennie Laverne Sroufe and Daphene Adair Foreman Sroufe. On July 6, 1990, John married the love of his life, Crystal Dawn Andrews. John enjoyed team roping and was also a gun enthusiast. John treasured time spent on his family farm. You could find him out amongst the cows, checking fence, and doing repairs on the farm equipment. What he relished most about his home were the people in it. Being home is about being around those you love. He loved spending time with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and two grandbabies. John was preceded in death by his mother, Daphene Adair Foreman Sroufe; his father, Bennie Laverne Sroufe.He is survived by his wife, Crystal Dawn Sroufe of Colcord, Oklahoma; his son, Justin Ben Sroufe (Haleigh) of Colcord, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Tesslee McClain Sroufe of Colcord, Oklahoma; one grandson, Jhettson Ben Sroufe of Colcord, Oklahoma; two sisters, Leslie King of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Lynelle Smith of Kansas, Oklahoma; three nieces, Melissa of Oaks, Oklahoma, Chelsy of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Channing of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one nephew, Garick of Oaks, Oklahoma; one special cousin/brother, Tex Foreman (Tresa) of Oaks, Oklahoma; a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and family.A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Colcord gymnasium in Colcord, Oklahoma.
