In the sacred silence of farewell, Benjamin is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Benjamin's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Ed Wallen and Steve Hensley. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Hensley (Emily) and Pamela Wallen Hensley (Terry Swofford); his brothers, Drew X. Newell and Davis L. Hensley; and his grandmothers, Phyllis Hendricks and Judy Hensley.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peasley Funeral Home (401 Delavan St, Lincoln, IL 62656).
