Benjamin Miller ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Breathitt Funeral Home on Mar. 9, 2026.Benjamin "Ben" Miller, 66, of Clayhole, Kentucky entered eternal rest peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Born on April 9, 1959, in Wilstacy, Kentucky, he lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work and his passions.Ben was a skilled heavy equipment operator who took pride in his career. His work ethic and commitment were evident in everything he did. Outside of his profession, Ben found joy in the simple pleasures of life-riding motorcycles, working his tractor, spending time outdoors and cherishing moments with his family. He was also a devoted member of Decoy Community Church.Ben shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Miller. Together they built a loving family that includes their daughters, Jessica Ellis (Shane) and Kayla Miller; their son Gavyn Daniel; and their cherished grandchildren, Harley Miller, Caige Ellis, Kaizley Ellis, Haidyn Russell, Mikaylyn Miller, Noah Miller and Jaxtyn Daniel. Ben is also survived by his sisters, Lillian Dunn, Rita Burnsworth, Helen Miller and Daisy Barnett (Jr.), as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will remember him fondly.He was preceded in death by his son, Shane Miller; grandson, Gary Michael Miller; son-in-law, Chucky Daniel; parents, Johnnie Sr. and Audrey Mullins Miller; brothers, Carl "Scrub" Miller, Johnnie Jr. "Bug" Miller, James Miller and Lee Collins; and sisters, Delphia Fraley and Kansie Collins Marshall.Visitation for Ben will begin Friday, March 13, 2026 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with additional services to be held Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral service is scheduled to be held Sunday, March 15, at 12:00 PM with Sherman Clemons, Larry Montgomery Murrell, Paul Statton, Harold Clemons and Jesse Acosta officiating.Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery at Clayhole with Gavyn Daniel, Caige Ellis, Shane Ellis, Todd Hall, A.C. Smith, Tim Miller, Harley Miller, Aaron Oliver, Jax Daniel and Noah Miller serving as pallbearers.Ben's legacy is one of love for his family and an enduring passion for the things that brought him happiness.
