Benjamin “Benny” Benson, age 62, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, surrounded by loving family and friends. Born on July 22, 1963, in Princeton, Minnesota, to Ralph and Sally Benson, Benny lived a life deeply rooted in the community that raised him.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Benson; his son, John Benson and wife Laura; grandchildren Abby and Reed; his siblings Todd Benson and wife Vicki, Jimmy Benson, Sue Los, and Tammy Southworth; and many beloved nephews and nieces. Benny was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, and his grandparents Ben and Ellen Benson and Charles and Edna Dunbar.
Those who knew him will remember the quiet strength and steady presence he brought to his family and friendships.
