Belinda Sue Morton, 77, passed away, Saturday, March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on September 21, 1948 in Hillsboro, Texas to Elmer Richard and Margaret Noreen (Woods) Brown. She lived a life defined by strength, resilience, and deep love for those closest to her.

Belinda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest pride and joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She leaves behind her only living child, Kelli Young, along with her beloved grandchildren, Rachel Brown and husband, Brent, Nicholas Wilson, John Young Jr. and wife, Nyomi and Hayden Young; six great grandchildren, Hope Harrison and husband, Colton, Faith Brown, Trent Brown, Jillian Wilson, Madelyn Young and John Young III and Jaxon Wymer.

She is also survived by her sister, Cheryl Shuler; brother, Randy Brown; niece, Christy Denekamp and husband Jamie; along with extended family and friends who will remember her with love.

Belinda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hershel, son, Craig, daughter, Kim, and grandson Raleigh.

Though she endured great loss throughout her life, Belinda’s strength and love for her family never wavered. She will be remembered for her perseverance, her heart, and the deep bond she shared with those she loved most.

Her memory will live on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
