Becky Menard

July 23, 1952 March 6, 2026

Port Neches, TX

Becky Menard, a devoted caregiver and cherished member of her community, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born on July 23, 1952, in Beaumont, Texas, she lived a life defined by compassion, love, and faithful service to others.

Her greatest joy was found at home with her husband Kevin, tending to household tasks and sharing quiet, peaceful drives together. She delighted in planting and nurturing flowers in her garden, caring for them with the same tenderness she showed her family. She loved her dogs Maddie and Jovi, who remained close by her side even when Jovi’s energetic ways tested her patience.

Despite enduring her own pain, Becky never lost her faith. She and Kevin leaned on Jesus during their respective surgeries, finding strength in prayer and scripture. Kevin’s nightly prayers and hand-holding brought her comfort, deepening their unbreakable bond of 35 years. She prayed fervently for her family, and she took great pride in her three children and the lives they built.

Becky was a longtime member of Encounter Church from its opening day. She faithfully attended a women’s small group and shared her love for Jesus with everyone she met, often inviting strangers in grocery stores to join her church family. Her own testimony of redemption led her into a ministry of caregiving, where she selflessly tended to John and Eula Menard, Donald Wilcox, Howard and Olite, Ike and Joyce Whitehead, and many others in need. She visited the sick in hospitals, prayed over them, and gently led them toward faith.

She is survived by her beloved husband Kevin Menard of Port Neches; her daughter Wendy Badgett and husband Ronnie of Port Neches; her son Ronnie Roller Jr. (Noi) of Seattle, Washington; and Keenan Pyden and Tommy. She adored her grandchildren Ashli Enriquez and husband Jorge, Ellis Roller, and Isaac Roller, and her great-grandchildren Kingston, Madison, and Liam Enriquez. She is also remembered by her sisters Linda Brittain of Center, Texas, Lorraine Foux and husband Freddie of China, Texas, and Bennie O’Donohoe of League City, Texas; her brother Kenneth Wilcox and wife Laurie of Beaumont, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas R. Wilcox, Louis E. Wilcox, Robert Paul Wilcox Sr., Jessie L. Wilcox, Ronald G. Wilson, Donald R. Wilcox, and Joseph D. Wilcox.
