May 26, 2023— March 6, 2026
Ellsworth, KS
Beckham Reece Binford, 2, of Ellsworth, passed away on March 6, 2026, at Ellsworth County Medical Center. Born on May 26, 2023, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Ross Kahan and Alexandria Marie (Stecklein) Binford, Beckham brought boundless energy and joy to everyone who knew him.
He was a lively little boy who loved sports, often kicking his football, hitting the baseball off his tee, playing soccer, and swinging a golf club. He cherished wrestling with his dad, brother, and cousins, riding in his wagon on long walks with his mom, and visiting the park to swing. Beckham delighted in playing superheroes, listening to his Tonies Box, reading with his mother, learning his colors, numbers, and alphabet, and attending sporting events to cheer on his friends and cousins. He spent many happy hours exploring the farm, playing with cars and trucks on the floor, watching Spidey and Friends, Cars, and Toy Story, dressing up as Buzz and Woody, singing songs, coloring, doing puzzles, and spending time with his cousins, friends, and beloved dog, Quincy. Above all, he loved being Graham’s big brother.
Beckham is survived by his parents, Ross and Alexandria Binford; his brother, Graham Kahan Binford of Ellsworth; grandparents, Kent and Lori Binford of Haviland and Dan and Denice Stecklein of Dodge City; great-grandparents, Paul Binford of Haviland, Carol Brown of Haviland, and Arlene Stecklein of Dodge City; aunts and uncles, Luke Stecklein of Dodge City, Ashley and Luke Salmans of Jetmore, and Audra and Tyler Fenton of Wichita; cousins, Liam, Adah, Landry, and Allie Salmans, and Bowen, Rya, and Lainey Fenton; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James and Lila Koftan, Lawrence and Marjorie Nietling, and Terry Stecklein.
