Beatrice T. McCarrick

Beatrice T. “Bea” McCarrick (née Bowler) of Medford passed away peacefully on March 11 at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard F. McCarrick.

A devoted mother, Bea is survived by her children, Deborah Looby and her husband William of Woburn, and Leonard F. McCarrick, Jr. and his wife Barbara Cole of New Mexico. She was the loving grandmother of Christopher Looby and his wife Caitlin, and Erin Looby, and the adored great-grandmother of Mackenzie and Owen. Bea was the dear sister of Michael Bowler and his wife Michelle of Somerville, and the late Maurice and James Bowler. She was also the cherished sister-in-law of Peter McCarrick and his wife Barbara of Florida. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will remember her with great affection.

Bea lived a long and quietly graceful life, cherished by her family for her warmth, strength, and steady presence in their lives. Her memory will remain a source of comfort and love for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
