Beatrice “Bea” Laverne Hempill, 89, of Wheelersburg, passed away on March 7, 2026.

Bea lived a life of quiet dedication and hard work. She began her career at Williams Shoe Factory, later worked at Marting’s Department Store, then at Rinks Department Store in Wheelersburg, and concluded her working years as a Nurse’s Aide at Best Care Nursing Home before retiring.

She is remembered by her family as a steady, caring presence in their lives. A celebration of her life will be scheduled in the coming weeks.
