Beatrice L. Kimball

August 14, 1938 March 14, 2026

Milford, MI

Beatrice Louise Kimball, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on August 14, 1938, in Maple Grove, Michigan, she was the daughter of Francis John and Leona Margaret Hoehn (née Weisenberger). She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bud Arthur Kimball, who passed in 2013.

Beatrice lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and quiet service. She possessed a caring heart and a steady presence that made those around her feel welcomed and loved. A registered nurse, she offered professional and compassionate support in medical matters throughout her life. Beatrice found joy in sewing, crafting, quilting, and gardening, and was an active member of quilting and gardening clubs in Hartland and Milford. She also enjoyed painting, baking, and dancing with Bud as longtime members of the Milford Dance Club. Together, she and Bud raised their own children while opening their home to many foster children over the years, and remained devoted to her Catholic faith and service to others.

She is survived by her daughters, Bethany Kimball Whyte (Troy) and Barbara Kimball Walker (Drew), and her son, Barry Kimball (Donna); her grandchildren, Taylor Whyte, Leo Walker, Liliana Walker, Jacklyn Kimball, and Garrett Kimball; and her sister, Jayne Hoehn, along with many beloved family members. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jim Hoehn, Arlene Edmonds, and Kathryn Tallmadge.

Beatrice will be remembered for her compassion, hard work, and the love she so generously shared with all whose lives she touched.
