Beatrice DeGrassie

Beatrice DeGrassie, 98, of Whiting, passed away at Rose Garden in Toms River. Born in Lodi, she lived in Clifton for 64 years before moving to Whiting two years ago. She owned and operated Bea's Corner Gift Shoppe in Paterson for more than 30 years. Beatrice cherished trips to Atlantic City, family gatherings at the Jersey shore, collecting antiques, and enjoying a good martini.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice DeGrassie, in 2015. She is survived by her children, Michele Natoli and her husband Joseph, Damon DeGrassie and his wife Kathy, and Paris DeGrassie and his wife Laura; her siblings, Patricia Loffredo and Janice Dicely; seven grandchildren, Christa, Sara, Melanie, Dylan, Tyana, Paris Jr., and Jade; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services were held privately, with entombment at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
