Barry S. Chessick

Barry Chessick, age 89, of Northbrook, passed away on March 14, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Anne Chessick, née Glickman. Barry was a devoted father to Paul Chessick, Cary (Robin) Chessick, and Kim (Bob) Eisendrath, and a joyful “Papa” to his grandchildren Morgan, Allie, Logan, Jacob, and Sarah.

An accomplished athlete, writer, actor, and musician, Barry was also an avid sailor who brought humor and warmth to every gathering. He cherished his dogs and was deeply loved by family and friends for his laughter and kindness. Those who knew him will remember his vibrant spirit and the genuine affection he showed to everyone in his life.

Barry will be profoundly missed, yet his memory will continue to live on through the many lives he touched with his generosity and good nature.
