Barbara Williams ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Woodbridge on Mar. 10, 2026.Barbara "Gail" Williams, 76, of Woodbridge VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer.A viewing and visitation will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 14th at Lake Ridge Baptist Church in Lake Ridge, VA with the funeral starting at 11:00am.Gail was born in Bremen, AL on September 20th, 1949 and moved to Havelock, NC in 1972 when her husband Rick, a US Marine, received orders to Cherry Point, NC. In Havelock, Gail raised two children, worked as a day care teacher, a public school teacher's aid, and a school bus driver. She also taught Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Havelock. For the last several years she has lived with her daughter and family in Woodbridge, VA.She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Lovett and son-in-law Mike of Woodbridge, VA; her son, Todd Williams and daughter-in-law Christy of Frederick, MD; grandchildren, Richie Lovett, Robbie Lovett, and Nathan Williams; great-grandchildren, Mali Lovett, Elora Lovett, and Remi Lovett; brother, Michael Stacks in Morris, AL, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Williams, her parents, Wilburn Leon Stacks and Betty Colene Stacks, and her sister Janet Pekkanen.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Ridge Baptist Church, Lake Ridge. Any flowers being delivered should be sent to Lake Ridge Baptist Church, Lake Ridge, VA no earlier than 9:00am, March 14th.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
