Schunk, Barbara M.Sep 8, 1942 - Mar 5, 2026Age 83, of Hamburg, NY passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2026. Beloved wife for 64 years to Jerome C. Schunk; loving mother of Crystal (John) Sopko, Todd (Anne Smith) Schunk, Rebecca (Gene) Wendley and Rodney (Rhonda) Schunk; cherished grandmother of Nichole (Matthew) Illig, Erik (Amanda) Walczak, Sabrina (Cameron Turner) and Valentina Schunk, Alexander (Audrey Parks) Wendley, Wyatt (Andrada Tuduc) Schunk and Cassidy (Michael Teoro) Schunk; great grandmother of McKenna and Kelcie Illig, Melody and Emryk Walczak; dear sister of Charles (Angela) Kaufman; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Eleanor Kaufman and a sister, Elizabeth (late Ronald) Schoenhardt and a brother, John (late Janice) Kaufman. Barb worked as a floral designer for Expressions Florist & Gift Shoppe in Hamburg for a number of years and in her free time she enjoyed many activities with her friends in the "Card Club".
