The passing of Barbara Joan Middleton Spinella Presch of Chelsea, Vermont leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 3, 2026 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd I. Middleton and H. Ruth Elliott Middleton; her husband Joseph S. Spinella; her sisters, Nancy (Kenneth) and Grace (Bob); her granddaughter Jennifer; and her niece Karen.

She is survived by: her sons, Scott, Joe, Bill (Heather), John (Sharon) and Frank (Sue); her daughter-in-law Paula; her grandchildren, Christopher (Christine), Casey (Samantha), Anthony, Peter, Dario, Hannah and Sam; her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Gavin, Peyton, Nikolas, Jackson and Grant; and her sister Ruth Williams (David).

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boardway and Cilley Funeral Home (300 VT-110, Chelsea, VT 05038). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Chelsea (13 N Common, Chelsea, VT 05038).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Chelsea Historical Society or the First Branch Ambulance Service.
