Barbara "Barb" Jean (Rahn) O'Neill, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the age of 86. Barb was born on Thursday, September 7, 1939, in Gettysburg, PA, to the late Bill Rahn and Jean (Hasslen) Rahn. In addition to her parents, Barb is preceded in death by her three brothers, Dallas Rahn, Robert Rahn, and Dennis Rahn, whose memories she held dear.

Barb's survivors include her beloved husband of 64 years, Thomas "Tom" L. O'Neill; their two devoted children, Chad O'Neill and his wife Mary, of Lewisberry, and Jason O'Neill of Mechanicsburg; her five grandchildren: Elena, Autumn, Myra, Thomas, and Jack O'Neill; her great-grandchild: Scarlett O'Neill; her brother: Bill Rahn of Dillsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Barb graduated from Northern High School as part of the class of 1957, a milestone that marked the beginning of a life lived with grace and generosity. She pursued a career as a beautician, running her own shop from her home for many years, where she brought beauty and comfort to countless clients. Later, Barb found joy working in the kitchen at Messiah College, a position she held until her retirement in 1997. Barb's life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love for her family and community. Known by many simply as Barb, she was a woman who truly loved helping those in need and found immense happiness in spending time with her family. Her warm spirit and caring nature left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
