Barbara Jean Kissinger

Barbara Jean Kissinger of Horatio, Arkansas, passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Born in Yuma, Arizona, she lived a life marked by quiet strength and deep devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Reese; her siblings, Sandra Smith, Junior Reese and his wife Mae Rene, and Buddy Reese; her brothers-in-law, Gene Cobb and Johnny Kissinger; her grandchild, Devin Kissinger; and her great-grandchild, K’Twon Franklin.

Barbara is survived by her husband of many years, Charles Kissinger, Sr.; her children, Celeste Dean and her husband Billy of McCaskill, Arkansas, Deda Choate and her husband Tim of Texarkana, Texas, and Charlie Buck Kissinger of Horatio; her grandchildren, Christy Elliott and her husband Dale, Ashley Knight and her husband Gabe, Monica Choate, Kyle Choate, Shyla Kissinger, and Caleb Kissinger; her sister, Carol Cobb of Horatio; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Joan Reese of Apple Valley, California, Jim Kissinger and his wife Janet of Clarksville, Arizona, and Scotty Smith of Horatio.
