Barbara (Smith) Hall, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born on April 26, 1935, in Peabody, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of Francis and Marion Herlihy.Barbara married Donald Adair Smith from Eaton Rapids, MI on December 17, 1952. The two were each other's soulmates for almost forty-three years until his passing in 1995. She later married Jesse C. Hall from Beckley, West Virginia on April 8, 2000, up until his passing in 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Dorthy, Helen, Ruth, John, Ralph, Francis Michael Jr., and Betty.Barbara devoted her life to her family and was known for her kindness, strength, and warm sense of humor. She found great joy in reading her Bible, baking, and feeding anyone who walked through her doors. Her home was always a welcoming place for family and friends, and she had a remarkable way of making new friends wherever she went.She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Joseph Smith (Brenda), Donald Smith (Paula), Linda Tijerina (David), and Karen Smith.She was a proud grandmother to Joseph Smith, Alicia Smith, Joshua Bengal, Heather Lantz (Joshua), Derek Milks (Tori), Michael Smith (Laura), Bradley Smith (Heather), Michael Lee (Brit), Carmen Lee, David Michael Tijerina (Malia), Kayla Tijerina, Nicolas Tijerina, Zach Kathrens, Alexis Smith, and Anthony Smith. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched.A private family service will be held at Watson Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.Barbara's love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her warmth and devotion to family will never be forgotten."Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord."- Matthew 25:23
