Barbara J. Resig

We bid farewell to Barbara J. Resig of Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2026 at the age of 70. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joe Resig; her children, John Resig, Leo Resig (Tiffany), Emily Mercedes (Brian) and Megan Smolen (John); her grandchildren, Ryland, Paris, Mila, Fenton, Ellerie, Cecilia, Tegan and Theodore; her parents, Dave Klein and Mary Klein; and her children, Dave, Gina, Maria, Terri, Kate, Fran and Tom.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Devine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46808). Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (2130 Pemberton Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
