Barbara J Ooten

Barbara J. Ooten, née Clark, age 89, of Dayton, Kentucky, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Covington, Kentucky. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 1, 1937, Barbara spent many years as a devoted homemaker before working in Blue Ash, Ohio, where she cleaned office buildings. She found quiet joy in watching her favorite television shows, Perry Mason, Matlock, and Murder, She Wrote, and in spending evenings playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Mary Ann Couch, her grandchildren Mary Ann Ooten and Thomas James Ooten, and her five siblings, Shirley, Gail, Patty, Marilyn, and Sonny.

Barbara is survived by her brother Garry Craig and his wife Mary, her sons Tommy and Tami Ooten, Raymond and Lois Ooten, Mike and the late Tina Ooten, and Shawn and Boo Ooten. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Penny and Mark Lawson, Brian and Jessica Moore, Shawn Ooten, Mikey Fieler, and Ashley and Rick Allen, as well as her great-grandchildren Brandon Ross and Audrey, Zachary Ross and Lexi, Paige Lawson, Blake Moore, and Brooklyn Terrell, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
