BARBARA J. LEONE

LEONE, Barbara J. Of Woburn, March 6, 2026, after a long illness. Barbara was born in Waltham, MA and graduated from Waltham High School, Class of 1984. She continued her education at Framingham State Univ., with a BA in English and Simmons College, with an MS in Library Science. She was a long-term employee of Northrup Grumman, working as a research librarian. Barbara was loved by all who came in contact with her, a good and loyal friend to many. Barbara leaves her parents, Lawrence C. and Ethel (Hoyt) Leone; her brother, Lawrence J. Leone and his wife, Marcella (Lison) Leone; niece, Marina; and nephew, Michael. Her Wake will be held on Sunday, March 15, from 2-5pm, at Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St., NEWTON. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 16, at 10:30am, in Our Lady's Church, Newton.
