Barbara Hinds

Barbara Hinds passed away peacefully just before sunrise on March 6, 2026, at the Glenn A. Kister Hospice House in Salisbury. Born on January 19, 1950, to the late Bill and Frances McCombs Crossett of Salisbury, she married Mark Hinds on March 15, 1975. Three years later they welcomed their son, and later a daughter, after which Barbara devoted herself to being a full-time homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Kristen Hinds and her brothers Garrett and Ron Crossett. Barbara is remembered for her loving spirit, kind heart, and unbreakable faith. She cherished the Lord and all of God’s creation. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of nearly fifty-one years, Mark Hinds; her son, Brandon; her granddaughter, Tiffany (Thomas), and Tiffany’s daughters, Ella and Madelyn; her brother, Richard; and her sisters, Deanna and Jane.

At Barbara’s request, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith in memory of their daughter, Kristen Hinds.
