Barbara Gail Lukin

Barbara Lukin, 80, of San Pedro, California, passed away on March 4, 2026. Born on October 5, 1945, in Long Beach, California, to Harvey Penick and Betty Hodkin, she was a woman of warmth, integrity, and quiet strength who touched many lives.

A proud member of the ILWU Local 63 Marine Clerks Association, Barbara earned deep respect in her community through her dedicated work and the generous spirit she brought to every role she filled. She was known for her kindness, sharp sense of humor, and the genuine joy she shared with those around her. Above all, her son and grandchildren were the center of her world; she cherished every moment spent with them.

Barbara had a special love for travel, with Hawaii holding a treasured place in her heart as her favorite destination. She is survived by her beloved daughter-in-law Jamie, her grandchildren Chase and Ty Lukin, her brother Bill Penick, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Stuart Penick and her son Robbie Lukin in 2022.
