Barbara D. Risi

We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2026, at the age of 92, Barbara D. Risi of West Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dove and Gertrude Hayes Timmons Dove; and her sisters, Ernestine White, Harriette Rucker and Beverly Johnson.

She is survived by: her son Kevin Smith Sr. of Hartford, CT; her grandchildren, Kevin Smith Jr. of Hartford, CT and Torie Smith of Augusta, GA; her great grandchildren, JaKari, Ja'Nya, Kiera, Khloe and Shawn; her daughter-in-law Arlene Smith; and her nephew Gilbert Hampton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lodge 130 Deerfield Rd (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
