Barbara Ann Sullivan, born on January 28, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, to John Raymond Fallon and Rose Barbara (Duenki) Fallon, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 97 in Perrysburg, Ohio.
A graduate of Whitney High School’s Class of 1947, Barbara married the love of her life, Charles E. Sullivan, on April 24, 1954. They shared a devoted marriage until his passing in 2014. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Isabelle Rohweder, Raymond Fallon, Kenneth Fallon, and Melvin Fallon.
Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family always came first. She is survived by her children, Maureen (Jim) Gilmore, Michael Sullivan, and Kevin (Teresa) Sullivan; her grandchildren, Sally Badhorn, Katherine (Mike) Emans, Patrick (Bailey) Gilmore, Brendan Sullivan, Sean Sullivan, and Dylan Sullivan; and five great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. She was deeply loved by her extended family, including many nieces and nephews, and was always the first to step in when someone needed help.
An active member of the Toledo Mothers of Twins Club since 1960, Barbara was honored as Mother of the Year in 1988. She volunteered for many years at Toledo Hospital, later working there part-time, and served with her husband in Mended Hearts while volunteering at St. Catherine’s Parish. She found joy in book clubs, line dancing with friends, and spending time with her family.
