Barbara Ann Simmons

Barbara Ann Simmons, age 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on March 9, 2026. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she spent more than twenty years in the manufacturing industry. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family deeply and remained a loyal friend to many throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel McDaniel; her father, Frank Jackson Jr.; her granddaughter, Katelyn Allysa Greeson; and her grandson, Joshua Bradley Simmons.

Barbara is survived by her son, Bradley E. Simmons of Cleveland, Tennessee; her daughter, Tammy K. Sheriff of Dalton, Georgia; her daughter, Tasha R. Bishop of Copperhill, Tennessee; her brother, Franklin Jackson of Louisiana; and her sister, Patty Jackson of South Bend, Indiana. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Carol “Jo” Simmons, Bradley Simmons Jr., Ethan Neal, Haley Mitchell, Roy Whitener, Noah Bishop, Jason Lee Whitener, and Anna Whitener, as well as extended family members Pamela Roberts, Jason Bevins, and Dakota Gardner of Cleveland, Tennessee.
