She enjoyed spending time with them, cooking for them, bringing everyone together around her table, and creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. Faith was also very important to Barb. She attended Bible study at Immanuel Lutheran Church and lived out her beliefs through acts of service and generosity. Barb loved to travel and stayed active throughout her life, enjoying scuba diving, gardening, bicycling, and running.Animals held a special place in Barb's heart-especially dogs. For many years she managed a successful dog kennel, where her natural gift for understanding and training dogs flourished. Barb worked with police dogs, bred German Shepherds, and devoted countless hours to several canine assistance organizations. Her work training service dogs for disabled veterans and others in need was one of her greatest sources of pride. Through her skill, patience, and compassion, Barb changed lives-both human and canine. Those who knew Barb will remember her loyalty, her quiet strength, and the care she showed throughout her life. Her legacy continues through her family, the dogs she devoted herself to, and the many people she helped along the way.She will be forever loved and greatly missed. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
