Lawtey, FL
Barbara Ann Napier Noel passed away on March 13, 2026. She was married to the love of her life, Rev. Grady S. Noel, for 67 years until his passing in September 2024. Together they raised one daughter, Kristy Ann Dunfee (Rodney), and cherished three grandchildren, Kaitlin Noel Prevatt (Jake), Patrick Grady Dunfee (Melody), and Aaron Hughes Dunfee (Sarah), as well as one great-grandchild, Timothy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Napier, her sister Peggy Manchester, her brother Robert “Bob” Napier, her niece Sarah, and nephews Scott and Michael Manchester. She is survived by two sisters, June Sexton and Carla Riley.
Known affectionately as Gram, Barbara had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved little Red. She found joy in cooking, shopping, dining out, Italian food, sweets, feeling the warm summer wind on her face, playing Rook, decorating for fall, listening to music, and spending time with her family. Above all, she loved the Lord. Though she was not one for travel or grand adventures, she lived life on her own terms with quiet determination and contentment. For many years she and Grady pastored Lawtey Church of God, a place she continued to attend faithfully until recent months, finding peace and encouragement among its people.
Gram will be remembered for her spunk, laughter, sass, hospitality, encouragement, and boundless love. There was truly no one like her, and the warmth she brought to those around her will not be forgotten. She was the best of the best.
