Barbara Ann Landrum Fuller, age 87, passed away on March 5, 2026, leaving the arms of her beloved husband to enter the arms of Jesus.

Born on June 3, 1938, in Rome, Georgia, to Roy Garlington Landrum and Annie Elizabeth McDaniel Landrum, Barbara grew up in Rome, where she met and married the love of her life, Rufus Levi Fuller, on March 12, 1955. She joined him in California during his service with the US Navy, and after his discharge, the couple returned to Rome to raise their five children.

Barbara worked as a seamstress with Rome Manufacturing for several years. In the early 1980s, she and Rufus began serving as cottage parents at the Palmetto Campus of the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home. They later continued their ministry at the Georgia Baptist Retirement Home in Stockbridge, Georgia, where Rufus served as Executive Director and Barbara worked in the office. In retirement, they enjoyed traveling in their RV and, above all, spending time with their family. In recent years, they resided at Charter Senior Living Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they received loving care from the staff and friends.

Predeceased by her parents and her two brothers, Richard Landrum and Robert Landrum, Barbara is survived by her husband of 71 years, Rufus Fuller; her children, Gary Cleveland Fuller (Debbie), Robert Eugene Fuller (Amie), Carla Elizabeth Fuller Ramsey (David), Paul Levi Fuller (Carla), and Tona Ann Fuller Slate (Shawn); her grandchildren, Twila Harris Coulter (Billy), Gary Cleveland Fuller, Jr., Misti Love Fuller Godwin (Stanley), Jason Fuller (Frances), Justin Robert Fuller (Melissa), Jonathan Fitts Fuller (Sandra), Katelyn LaRue Fuller, Carla Nichole Biddle Gunderson (Sam), James Orville Biddle, III (“Trip”) (Jessica), Julie Elise Fuller, Zachary Levi Fuller, Jennifer Fuller Hays (Brian), Brooke Fuller Leonard (Daniel), Rafe Slate (Reese), and Skyler Slate Kelly (Kell); 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and their devoted dog, Annie.
