Barbara Ann Kappel

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Kappel of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Ann Kappel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Gatz and Ann Gatz (Negoski); and her husband Charles "Chip" Kappel. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Smyth (Ronan) of Green Bay and Bob Kappel (Janet) of Baraboo; and her grandchildren, Emma Shaw (Steven), Brendan, Caleb, Lucas, Noah, Grace, Faith and Sam. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (300 2nd St, Baraboo, WI 53913). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
