Barbara Good ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services and Cemetery - North Olmsted on Mar. 16, 2026.Barbara Ann Good, 86 (nee Saus) was called home to be with the lord on March 12, 2026.Born on December 22, 1939 in Cleveland, OH, Barbara is survived by Paul Jr., her husband of 65 years, her children Cheryl Rerko (Mark), Paul, and Paula Mattei (Tony), her grandchildren Erin, Matthew, Kevin, Michael (Haley), Max, and Georgia, and her great grandchildren Joseph and John Francis.Barbara moved to Olmsted Falls in 1966 and has lived there until her last day. She enjoyed needlework and photography, often taking long walks through her yard and community parks, capturing beautiful images of the natural environment. It was her love of her faith that gave her the inner strength to handle any challenge that came her way, supporting her loved ones with the fierceness of a mother bear. Spending over forty years serving St. Mary of the Falls church, Barb started out as a lector, usher, and eucharistic minister. She then started the first shut-in ministry and the first prayer chain now called the Prayer Heartline. She was also instrumental in starting the Secular Franciscan Order at her church due to her strong devotion to prayer. Upon retirement she completed her faith journey at St. Clarence church.Affectionately known as Bubsie by her family and close friends, she had the gift of gab and loved making people laugh, although she was the master of "the look" that many knew she meant business. She was a mother to many of her children's friends, never hesitated to lend an ear or supporting those in need. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.A short funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, followed by a rosary prayer and burial at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio.In lieu of flowers, family members are requesting any donations be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/give.htmlTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
